Historic Town Walks

These take place from 31st March until 31st October Tuesday to Saturday

Additional peak season walks (26th May to 27th September) also take place on Mondays starting at 2pm and on Sundays starting at 11 am.

This tour, from the Saturday Market Place to the Tuesday Market Place, takes in 1,000 years of history. Historic buildings, hidden courtyards and the river all reveal King’s Lynn’s story from small settlement to successful port and elegant town, along with the stories of the people who left their mark here.

Outside the Tourist Information Centre in the Saturday Market Place.

Duration: All walks last approximately 2 hours at a gentle strolling pace.

Themed Walks

These take place at various times from Easter until the end of October, or can be booked as a private walk at any time of the year.

Types of Guided Walks

Historic Town Walks take place from Easter to the end of October every Tuesday to Saturday commencing at 2 pm, with additional peak season walks available during the months June to September on Monday’s starting at 2 pm and on Sundays starting at 11 am.

Themed Walks also take place during our walking season and can also be booked as private walks at any time of the year.

Supporting Walks are walks designed to support specific events, planned by others and are put on during the events dates.
